Fresh-off-tha-block house music from Kyle Hall. We catch him in a mostly blue and jazzy mood here, from the sensuous, slow moving chords of ‘Ghosten’ to the distant melodies on ‘Body Of Water’ and the abandoned warehouse abstraction of ‘Osc_2’. His beats are more reserved than his Hyperdub outing, opting more for a tracky 313 shufflers feel a la Omar-S, but ‘Body Of Water’ has heavy percolating vibe if that’s what you need. Very dope.
